Brief Introduction of WEB3.0

01. The first era of the Internet —— circa 1990-2005 —— was about decentralization and community governance of open protocols. Most of the value accumulates at the network's edge: the builders.

02. The second era of the Internet —— circa 2005-2020 —— was about isolated, centralized services. Much of the value goes to a handful of big tech companies.

03.The third era of the Internet —— many people call Web3 —— organically combines the first two eras: the decentralization of the first era, the spirit of community management, and the advanced and modern functions of the second era. It makes contents "readable, writable, and ownable," and allows users' data, contents and the value they generate to belong to the users themselves through decentralized technology and business models. Users will really have their own assets, and web3.0 will open a new round of creativity.
