The Role of Web3.0 in the Metaverse Technology Stack

The metaverse is figuratively a three-dimensional internet, and its core values will be applications enabled by composable data, rich simultaneous (shared) experiences, and digital agents of personal online lives. For now, it's probably the easiest way to think of the metaverse as an application layer.

The Metaverse Layer is where users find the virtual world and experience digital ownership enabled by the Web3 Layer in the Metaverse Layer.

The Metaverse financial infrastructure "DeFi layer" is built on the basis of the blockchain network and is used for trading Metaverse commodities.

This layer is currently the most powerful layer in Web3, and we may see virtual worlds build their own vertically integrated marketplaces, which are then aggregated into some applications. In addition, Web3 also includes the infrastructure layer, core infrastructure protocols and blockchain, the decentralized backend that is responsible for building metaverse, including computation, storage, query, network, etc.
